Hey hey hey!!! :) How are you? I hope you’reВ doing great.В Because today is Fridaaaay and it means thatВ weekend is beginning :)

What I’m going to write today about? Well, every designer’s workday begins from inpiration. There would be no good designs, if you’re not inspired. Maybe you’ll be able to create some a’la “template-based” design but you won’t be able to do something great, something incredible, something awesome. Well, if you watched a good movie yesterday, then of course you don’t need any aditional inpiration today. I’m talking at the moment about mornings, when you stand up, look at the mirror and think “Man, you needВ a looot ofВ inspiration” , or …“Woman …” and so on. Everybody has their own plan to inspire themselves. Today I’ll show you my plan :)

My inspiring processВ begins already in the evening,В observingВ www.design.ru (www.artlebedev.ru).В This is one of theВ greatest and biggest designВ studios in Russia.В They have a lot of interesting andВ crazy ideas. It is also interesting to look at how their strategy is set up. Today lots of designers do their work to fit with client’s needs. If client says he don’t like the design, designer makes a new one, and after 3–5 new designes client may say: “Hey, I don’tВ think you’reВ a professional designer, I’ll better search a new one”. Well Art. Lebedev’s Studio principle is: “Client is never right. He is always wrong.” They don’t work with such clients who tell them how to work. If client is not a designer, then what the hell he is telling us how to work? If he i a designer, then what the hell he is ordering some design from us if he can draw it by himself. And I never thought of that before I began visiting artlebedev.com website.

Then I go to sleep :) And inspiration — part II begins in the morning, when I come to work.

I don’t have some kind ofВ sequenceВ when visiting these sites. I just visit them one after another and get myself inspired :) В So, here is a list of what I always visit in the morning.
