How are you? Good? That’s great :)

No? Why? Maybe you’re tired of something, or maybe weather isn’t good, or something is goind wrong? Well, just smile and hope for the best :)

Today I’m going to write a little bit about awesome webpage, not because of design, but because of resources…That’s www.hubblesite.org. Exactly, official webpage of Hubble telescope, that is working in the space at the moment taking awesome shots of stars, planets and various space bodies. I first met that webpage about 3 months ago. First thing I thought is “Damn…Why I hadn’t been here before?” Well, the answer is: “I didn’t know anything about Hubble”. Somebody don’t know what is XHTML, somebody doesn’t know where is Australia. Well, I didn’t know that there is some Hubble in Space, that can actually take a close “almost macro” shot of my ear while I will be walking across the street. So, I began browsing that webpage, reading articles and looking at some photos made by Hubble. Some of them were in good resolution, some of them in low quality, but still they were insteresting for me.

Accidentelly, I clicked on “Highest-quality download options” link. I was amazed by the resolution of images they were giving on a free terms of usage. This picture of “Iridescent Glory of Nearby Helix Nebula” is given in…TIF, 16000x16000px…And I think such resolution gives a green light to almost every type of design, is it a web or a graphic, and what was more amazing — you can use that pictures in commerce also. Of course you can’t just sell them, but you can use them in your commercial projects — websites you’re selling, posters and so on…

So, I think this website has to be in favourites anyway :)

Feel free to go and browse it…
